Weather
The corridor lies on the equator, and so has no seasons. It tends to be kind of cold, but on days when the wind is calm the heat from the focus moon lingers and they days can be quite comfortable.
The wind, when it blows, comes in two flavors, the corridor wind and the ice wind.
The corridor wind blows down the length of the corridor. Funneled between the ice walls, the wind can reach incredible speeds and often brings rain form the ocean.
The ice wind blows down from the ice sheets. It is incredibly cold. If it goes on long enough it will cover all exposed surfaces in ice. The ice usually melts in the night when the focus moon passes.
